Dr. Nor Edzan Che Nasir began her career as a librarian in 1983 and left the profession briefly in 1991 to pursue a career in academia. However, in 2007, she came back as the Chief Librarian of Universiti Malaya from 2007 to 2017. She is currently a member of the IFLA Asia Oceania Regional Division Committee and the IFLA Information Literacy Section. She was the President for PPM from 2014 to 2016. With more than 26 years experience as an academic librarian and 8 years as an academician, her area of expertise is information literacy. Her research interest centers on the usage of social media, management of library associations, library management and journal publishing. |
