Datin Paduka Mastura Hj Muhamad is the Director of the Selangor Public Library Corporation, Malaysia. A former general manager of YPM Trading & Marketing Sdn. Bhd., she was in 2008 appointed library director by the Selangor State Government. Mastura was born in Kuala Terengganu, graduated from University of Kansas, and holds a first degree in Economics. Married to an architect, she is blessed with three daughters and a son.

Leading the transformation of the Selangor Public Library with her rebranding strategy, the number of Raja Tun Uda Library, Shah Alam users increased from 418,802 in 2008-2010 to 1,550,435 in 2011-2013, then to 2,420,587 in 2014-2016, and then to 2,927,589 in 2017-2019.

 Mastura is the driving force behind the transformation of 66 libraries in Selangor State, and the number is still growing. Under her management, Selangor Public Library has expanded to 104 libraries throughout the state including 8 mobile libraries with the latest concept. She believes that a library can bring happiness to its surrounding community―a source of knowledge and skills enrichment that can strengthen an individual’s spiritual, intellectual and emotional well-being.
