Samuel Gipson is the Principal of Kinabalu International School and Chair of the Association of International Malaysian Schools. He has worked in senior leadership roles across international education settings in Australia, the United Kingdom, the Philippines, and Malaysia for over a decade, leading initiatives in school improvement, curriculum development, safeguarding, and strategic growth.

As Chair of AIMS, Samuel has helped support the continued evolution of the association with a strong focus on collaboration, advocacy, and elevating international education across Malaysia. Samuel holds a Bachelor of Arts, a Master’s in Islamic Studies, and a Master’s in Teaching. He also holds the National Professional Qualification for Senior Leadership (NPQSL) and the National Professional Qualification for Executive Leadership (NPQEL), and has undertaken doctoral research in education focused on organisational culture within schools.
