Sheikh Faisal Sheikh Mansor or “Shake” is the Honorary Secretary of the Malaysian Book Publishers Association (MABOPA). He runs Shake Book Projects that offers book publishing and consultancy services. With 20 years of experience in the book industry, Shake has written, published and sold children’s books locally and overseas. Shake was involved in the planning, bidding and operations of the Kuala Lumpur UNESCO World Book Capital 2020. He is also the consultant for the city of Petaling Jaya, Malaysia on its Learning City program that won the UNESCO Learning City Award in 2019. Recently Shake has been included into the UNESCO World Book Capital Expert Group, consisting a representative of each past, present and future UNESO World Book Capitals. |
