Ishak Hamzah is a book publisher, a book activist and a storyteller. He was the past President of Malaysian Book Publisher Association (MABOPA). IH has been heavily involved in the Malaysian book industry including being the Chairman for KL International Book Fair for 6 years and also the Chief Secretariat of Bidding Committee for Kuala Lumpur World Book Capital (KLIBC) before being incorporated in the Working Secretariat. In 2017 IH was awarded as the National Book Activist. As a writer he has written more than 50 books in many genres. |
