Kenny Chan was a Former Senior Director and Current Consultant for Kinokuniya Asia Pacific. He started his career in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and was posted to London as their Trade and Culture Attache. He then made a switch to bookselling, which in many ways, was his first love. His second career started with Popular Holdings which covered Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong. He had worked in MPH Bookstores, and Popular Holdings again when they launched their IPO, He continued as MD of Publishing Marketing Services for SEAsia, then GM of Reed Consumer Books and Group GM, SNP which covered retail,logistics, publishing and distribution including online . He is now a consultant with Books Kinokuniya.For the past 22 years, he was Senior Director of Kinokuniya’s Singapore Main Store and concurrently, the Senior Merchandising Director, Asia Pacific. |
