He has had previous experience in setting up his own company in the IT Industry and securing investments. He has undertaken Consultancy Projects for various clients involving Strategic Analysis and Product Development. He had set up the Malaysian Directors Academy (MINDA) for Ministry of Finance, Malaysia under the Government-Linked Companies (GLC) Transformation Programme managed by Khazanah Nasional Berhad.

He had also headed the Education Unit in Khazanah, and was responsible for the Trust School Programme, a PPP Public School Transformation Programme with the Ministry of Education, Malaysia and was also a Founding Board of Trustees member for Teach for Malaysia. After joining Ekuiti Nasional Berhad and assisting in several acquisitions of Education Assets, he was subsequently appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Unitar Capital Sdn. Bhd., the management company of UNITAR International University. He was also responsible for setting up and playing the role of Acting CEO and Chief Transformation Officer for MARA Corporation Sdn. Bhd., a Strategic Investment Holding Company for MARA.

Before he joined EduCity as a Managing Director in 2019, he was the Executive Vice President of Special Projects, Iskandar Investment Berhad (IIB), focusing on the Corporate Transformation of the IIB Group of Companies, as well as its Digital Strategy.
