School Digital Textbook in Malaysia Landscape

This paper analyse Malaysian schooling landscape and the need for digital textbook, with respect to contemporary infrastructure. Conclusion for a unified standard and method of distribution has never been clearer once the landscape of schooling need is determined. 

Making web contents for e-Learning is relatively easy, but making contents which are interactive and downloadable, is a plateful of challenges itself. The drive of creating the ultimate ebook platform to create downloadable interactive born digital textbook has always remain a challenge in Malaysian education system.

In this paper, we are focusing at one focal point, which is how to mass produce high quality interactive downloadable digital textbook.
