 | Shoba is, foremost, an ‘edutainer’ at heart. Armed with a Master of Education in the English Language, she relishes her fulfilling experience in teaching English to students from varied backgrounds at Singapore Ministry of Education (MOE) schools for more than ten years. She spearheaded school-wide language programmes to boost the language ability of the student learners in her school, where she was the Head of Department (English). With an ambition to infuse a love for reading and language, as well as encourage critical thinking, she now ‘edutains’ learners by developing and presenting refreshing content for the English language educational magazines at ilovereading.sg, together with her talented team of writers and designers. Shoba also has a deep interest in the human psyche. She is a certified mediator, and is an Associate Mediator at the Singapore Mediation Centre. She has also recently earned a Graduate Diploma in Counselling. |
