Ng Kim Huat is one of the longest standing Country Director at Cambridge International. He has a wealth of experience in education (more than 40 years), making him a perfect representative for Cambridge International.

Kim Huat is a qualified graduate teacher in English and Economics and held various positions over 20 years at the Ministry of Education, including as an Examinations Specialist with the Examinations Syndicate, Examinations Council and a school inspector with the Inspectorate of Schools. He has also worked as an Academic Administrator and Quality Manager for two years at Garden International School KL.

Kim Huat’s major responsibility in Malaysia is to support and promote the growth of General Qualifications, specifically IGCSE, AS and A Levels, working closely with international schools and private colleges.

Kim Huat also liaises with several divisions of the Ministry of Education, such as the Private Education Division, Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA), Examinations Syndicate (ES) and Malaysian Examinations Council (MEC), in 

addition to coordinating activities with the Brunei Ministry of Education. He says there is rarely a dull moment in his life and finds his job both challenging and rewarding.
