Lance Cheang is an experience serial entrepreneur who was employed a grand total of 9 months before starting his first business at age 22. Since graduating from Sunway University with a Degree in Computer Studies, coupled with an MBA from Preston University, he has started several businesses in the past 17 years and currently owns and manages 4 different companies in technology, shared services, and business/technology consultancy. He currently employs young and energetic individuals to manage engagements in 7 countries across Asia and is a pioneering and leading Microsoft cloud service provider in the SME space in Malaysia. One of his MDEC certified companies is credited for being the first partner in Asia for Zendesk, a complete cloud-based service desk solution and remains the only Zendesk partner in Malaysia. The same company is also credited to be the first systems integrations partner for Hubspot Cloud CRM and Xero Cloud Accounting in South East Asia.

He was Regional Project Director for the NEM Malaysia, a fully owned Malaysian entity of the NEM Foundation, a global non-profit blockchain technology foundation. Externally, Lance was tasked to introduce, educate, and expand the usage of the NEM blockchain technology in government, corporates, and academia across Asia and the Middle East.  Within the organization, he identifies, nurtures, and unleashes like-minded individuals to further the foundation’s causes. He was among the keynote speakers at the Asia Leadership Conference in Seoul, Jump-start Islamabad, 021 Disrupt Karachi, The Northern Region Innovation Forum, as well as various panels globally advocating the usage of Blockchain technology. 

Lance is also part of a group of consultants who coaches identified growth companies in various business areas, primarily company strategic direction, digitisation of business processes and technology adoption.  He regularly consults local SMEs on business strategy and technology road mapping, frequently facilitating business strategic planning summits.
