Jonson Chong is a 360° education and training consultant who designs and delivers education solutions and training programmes with a unique multidisciplinary approach. With his diverse career background and varied areas of expertise, not to mention the wide range of skill sets he has honed over more than 25 years of professional experience, Jonson is able to offer holistic solutions as well as specific programmes to educational institutions that need support to overcome the new challenges posed by our rapidly changing world. Indeed, Jonson goes beyond the traditional knowledge- and skills-transfer paradigm of conventional training programmes to transform the mindsets of his trainees by shifting their paradigms through innovative design and effective delivery of unique training programmes. 

Apart from law practice, Jonson was previously a full-time politician, and he also had significant experience in communications, marketing and sales. He stopped practising law in 2012, and has been working in the education sector since then. He currently practises as a 360° education and training consultant, and he is also the Executive Director of Malaysiana LCMS Sdn Bhd, an education and training consulting firm that serves schools and universities, corporations, social enterprises, non-governmental and community-based organisations as well as governments and their agencies. Jonson has a double degree in Finance and Law from the University of New South Wales, Australia, as well as a master’s degree in Human Rights Law from the London School of Economics and Political Science, United Kingdom.
