“Oh my gosh… I thought you studied all day.”

Straight ‘A’ student by day and Gamer, Athlete and Reader by night, Erica Tham did not realize she managed to fool her classmates into thinking studying was her life. The truth is she hated every minute of it and found ways to get good grades without studying (too much).

Today, she is the Director of the globally acclaimed Ace Ed-Venture Schools and the CEO for Studio E Media. Ace was founded by her mother in 1995 with 12 students at her dining room table. Today, it has grown into Dwi Emas and Sri Emas International Schools and learning centers in 12 locations by 2018, and has mentored over 14,000 students all over Klang Valley.

ACE is known for its unconventional and world class ACE Method which embeds real world skills into academic subjects in a fun, delightful way. Recently, it was certified by Education Alliance Finland with an outstanding score of 96%.

Together with her team Erica developed and brought the idea for ChemCaper, a multi-award winning  chemistry adventure game, to life. They’ve recently developed yet another learning adventure in comic form called Petticle Planet Vol. 0 that became a #1 Amazon Bestseller in the UK and US and a chemistry card game Bonding, available at Kinokuniya and Hamleys.

Erica and her team continue their mission to help students overcome the struggles of studying everyday.
