Brenna McCandless is a librarian at Mont’Kiara International School and is a graduate of University College London with a Master’s in Library and Information Science (2007). She has worked with a variety of age groups and populations. She’s taught early childhood literacy skills to parents and preschoolers as part of the Every Child Ready to Read program in the United States, working primarily with bilingual populations. She is the former Head Librarian for Rio Rancho Public Schools in New Mexico, where she also ran a high school library program serving a student population of 3,000. Internationally, she has worked in Albania and Malaysia with preschool through grade 12 students, both as a librarian and as an Extended Essay Coordinator in the IB framework, and is a Google Certified Educator.
