She lectures, supervises and publishes research related to English literature in education. Having completed her PhD in Cambridge University where she researched the development of STPM Literature in English in Malaysia, she has since been involved in projects to promote the teaching and learning of Literature in English, including literature in language education, in Malaysia. An avid reader, she believes in the potential of reading literature for personal growth and is keen to do all she can to ensure that any student who wishes to study literature in Malaysia will be given the opportunity to do so. |
