Gene Tan was appointed as Chief Librarian of the National Library Board and was formerly the President of the Library Association of Singapore. As Chief Innovation Officer, Gene is spearheading the transformation of the National Library Board as part of LAB25 (Libraries and Archives Blueprint 2025). Gene is also a Creative Director and have helmed 3 national projects working with the highest levels of government and accross the people and private sectors - the Singapore Bicentennial, SG50's The Future of Us and the Singapore Memory Project. |
