Bernard was a Teach For Malaysia fellow who worked in a high need school in Johor Bahru, where he experienced the challenges teaching at the grassroots level in a Malaysian government school. That teacher stint has inspired him to  continue working in education, specifically in school leadership because he believes that school leaders are the key drivers that will lead to school transformation. Currently, Bernard is working in PEMIMPIN G SL, to provide professional development programmes for government school leaders. As a programme manager, he delivers workshops and provide coaching support to school leaders in high need schools across Malaysia to help participants to contextualise solutions in schools.
